Nivelles, Belgium / Hyderabad, India – 22 June 2026 – Quantoom (operating as Phoenix Biosciences SA) and Nucelion Therapeutics Private Limited today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore a preferred RNA contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) partnership in India.
Under the MoU, Nucelion would operate Quantoom’s N-Force platform technologies to provide both research-grade and GMP-grade RNA manufacturing services to clients across human therapeutics and animal health. The collaboration reflects a shared view of the significant and growing opportunity for RNA-based products in India and the broader Asia-Pacific region — spanning mRNA therapeutics, RNA-based vaccines, oligonucleotide therapies, and veterinary applications.
Quantoom’s N-Force toolbox supports the rapid development of (sa)mRNA as a drug modality — from design through RNA production and encapsulation — via its Ntensify® equipment and consumables, reagent pre-mixes, and Ncapsulate® QCX delivery technology. Through the intended partnership, Nucelion aims to establish and scale RNA CDMO capability at its facilities in India, supported by Quantoom technology transfer and technical expertise.
“By bringing the N-Force platform to Nucelion’s facilities, we’re not just transferring technology — we’re helping establish local RNA capacity where it’s needed most. We see enormous potential across India and the wider Asia-Pacific region, and we’re excited to explore this collaboration.” said José CASTILLO – CEO of Quantoom.
Dr. Raghu Malapaka, CBO of Nucelion said“At Nucelion, we are building world-class infrastructure to advance the next generation of cell & gene and RNA based therapies into clinics. Our state-of-the-art GMP facility in Genome Valley is being purpose-built to host transformative platforms like Quantoom’s N-Force. This partnership is a significant milestone in that journey, and a testament to our shared commitment to making cutting-edge biologics affordable and accessible in a timely manner to patients everywhere in the world.”
