University of Western Australia’s RNA Innovation Foundry Selects Quantoom Biosciences’ Ntensify® mini for Advanced RNA Research and Technology

Perth, Australia & Nivelles, Belgium – December 3, 2025

Quantoom Biosciences today announced the adoption of the Ntensify® mini platform by The University of Western Australia’s (UWA) RNA Innovation Foundry (RIF). The installation marks Quantoom’s first reference site in Oceania and represents a significant step in the deployment of the company’s RNA manufacturing technologies across new regions.

The Ntensify mini will be integrated into the RIF’s platform to support mRNA production for its partners. Separately, through the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Quantoom and UWA intend to pursue a broader collaborative framework — including the development of saRNA projects and the evaluation of Quantoom’s delivery chemistry, Ncapsulate® QCX, for RNA therapeutics in Australia.

By combining UWA’s innovation environment with Quantoom’s integrated RNA manufacturing technologies, this partnership aims to accelerate the translation of RNA science and strengthen regional capabilities across human and animal health, as well as emerging RNA applications.

José Castillo, CEO of Quantoom Biosciences, said “This partnership marks an exciting milestone for Quantoom and our first presence in Oceania. I’m delighted to collaborate with UWA’s RIF, which will now serve as our Australian reference site for Ntensify mini and help advance RNA innovation in the region.”

Professor Archa Fox, Director of the RIF at UWA said: “We are thrilled to integrate Quantoom’s Ntensify mini into our workflow at RIF. Beyond the technology, this partnership is about building a dynamic RNA innovation ecosystem in Australia – one that unlocks new opportunities for research, industry, and health. We look forward to driving joint innovation and creating a robust pipeline of RNA solutions that will shape the future of biotechnology locally and globally. »
